Six people were injured after a rocket launched from Lebanon struck a residential home in the northern Israeli city of Nahariya, according to Israeli emergency services.

Israel’s national emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) said its teams treated two adults and four minors at the scene, all suffering from smoke inhalation following the impact.

Medical teams reported that all six individuals are in good condition, and they were treated after the strike caused damage to the home and smoke inside the building.

Initial reports suggested the explosion may have been caused by a failed interceptor missile, but the Israeli military later confirmed the damage was the result of a rocket fired from Lebanon.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the projectile was launched during ongoing hostilities along the Israel–Lebanon border involving Hezbollah.

Emergency responders and security forces arrived quickly at the scene in Nahariya, where rescue teams assessed the damage and assisted residents affected by the strike.

The incident comes amid continued cross-border rocket fire and military exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah, as tensions along the northern front remain high during the broader regional conflict.

Israeli authorities continue to urge residents in northern communities to follow safety instructions and seek shelter during incoming rocket alerts, as attacks from southern Lebanon persist.

Military officials say rocket launches from Hezbollah-controlled areas remain a significant threat to northern Israeli towns, prompting continued defensive operations and air defense activity.

The strike in Nahariya is one of several incidents reported in recent days as the conflict along the northern border continues to escalate.
